Greetings! Welcome to my little section of SheezyArt. I hope you like what you find here, and if you don't...well, sorry you didn't! hehe. I enjoy art very much and love every piece of artwork I do(even if it does not seem like it). If you think my art looks familiar, its probably because my inspiration is none other than the great Arphalia. Most of you know her work, but for the ones who don't, you are missing out on some great stuff! Anyways, I'd love to hear what you think so comments are welcome!-As long as they are constructive. Enjoy!!

I want to open this up by saying how shocked I was when I logged in here today. My life has become a bit more full lately so my visits here have not been as frequent as usual nor has the art been easy to create to upload. Never the less...I still sign on to see the wonderful artwork from those I watch and to just see if anyone new has stopped by to visit my artwork and as soon as I hit on enter to sign in I was greeted with an amazing 52 Updates!!! I don't think I have ever had that many at one time. I was like....somethings up. Either someone got upload happy in the course of time that I had been absent (which it hasn't been that long since I last checked in here) and low and behold that almost all the updates were comments, favorties, and watches. So again I was left scratching my head.

"Why would everyone just now be seeing my woodburning images that I uploaded..." and it clicked. I must have been one of the featured artists. So...to my suprise and much delight, I discovered that my woodburning rendition of my Pride and Prejudice piece had been amoung the feature artists section!

You have no idea how happy that makes me. I have been doing and enjoying art since I was very small, and as I have grown to my current age I have been striving to find my nitch in the art world where my abilities could truly shine. Being almost completely self taught and not attending school does hinder some things...and I always wonder what I could do if I ever actually went to college and learned some things. So I do a lot of watching and following artists that I find great, and right now the one that is just blowing me away each time she uploads something is none other than Savannah Horrocks, Aya Breaden to some, Lullaby-child to others. While Arphalia was my true inspiration when I first started into the anthro community, I was also able to discover Savannah's work through it and have watched her just as long.
I have seen how both incredible artists have started with what I thought was just amazing at the time to what they can do now and let me tell you...its an eye opener.

I can only hope to be able to achieve such accomplishments.

So, in entering and learning how to woodburn I had no real expectations. I had always watched my grandfather do it and wonder what it was all about. He convinced me to become a member of the Millstrean Woodcarvers Club here in my town of Findlay, OH. This club has been around from quite some time and is primarily made up of retired people and just individuals who are much older than I am. They embraced me and my talents and have given me so many compliments that it is just exciting to know that I really do have something here, so when I got a digital camera for my 22nd birthday this year, I knew I had to get my woodburnings scanned and up for my online viewers to see.

As an artist, you all know just how much comments can help build up your confidence in yourself and your artwork. To be featured for something like what I am doing now is very reassuring and lets me know that I must keep with this field of art while continuing to strive for excellence and improvement.

I thank all of you so much for your comments, favorites, and watches. Perhaps I will get to all of your pages to thank you myself and view your lovely galleries as well, but in case that takes longer than I want I just wanted to say that now.

!!Thank You!!
